IMO, he should be able to turn away anyone he wants - as long as others get the same freedom. But as long as that is denied to people on the right, the ctrl-Left needs to be held to their own standards.

Maybe he was educated that if he really wanted to live in a Trumpless world, it was going to be a lot smaller world than he figured on.
Plus, not all Trump supporters are bitter; many of them, like Donald himself, believe in the charm offensive. Could he have gotten a “love note” saying that if he relented, they’d gladly patronize his place even though they hadn’t before?
