I am not real sure what a “neo-con” is but I have heard the expression.
My memory is that it’s a title for a Jewish Conservative but I am not sure.
I don’t see McCain as a Neo-Con but he sure is a RINO and by me, he is the Republican John Kerry....created from smoke, mirrors and lies.

We’ve been trying to get rid of batsh!t crazy McCain for years. The problem in Arizona is not with Republicans not voting for him —but Democrats who do! Every conservative I know here in AZ hates him. However, gobs of Democrats love him and vote for him every six years.
And, unfortunately, when the day finally comes when McCain gets wheeled off to the old folks home, Arizona is also stuck with McCain’s a$$hat mini-me: Jeff Flake, who appears to have a similar voting block made up of GOPe, Dems and Mormons.

Somebody put McCain in an old folks home where he can play checkers and mumble crazy things like this to himself.
‘Neocon’ started as a description of political liberals who realized the need for a strong US military and foreign policy, then it became a code word for ‘Jew’, but now it is pretty much just an meaningless insult, like ‘m-——f——r’.
McCain didn’t start as a liberal. Like most who stay in DC too long, he lost his ability to reason and just became a liberal tool.
John Bolton is an example of a raving liberal who believes in an aggressive military and interventionist foreign policy.
Maybe that lump in his cheek is metastasizing inward to the grey-matter area. Totally whacked out. Either that, or his treasonous activity didn’t end in Vietnam.

I like to listen to his take on things but he does seem a bit....er, tough.
I agree with your assessment of McCain. He probably started out with good intentions but again, they stay there, they begin to think like them.....

Bolton is a clear-thinker on foreign policy, up to a point, such as suggesting war with Russia over Syria.
He is a liberal on social issues like James Baker and Condi Rice, but has always been a Republican AFAIK.
