Today, Sprint announced a commitment to create or bring back to America 5,000 jobs. The company anticipates these jobs will support a variety of functions across the organization including its Customer Care and Sales teams. Sprint will begin discussions immediately with its business partners, states and cities to determine the right locations in the U.S. to create these jobs. The company expects to fulfill this commitment by the end of its fiscal year 2017 and will provide additional details when they are available.

“We are excited to work with President-Elect Trump and his Administration to do our part to drive economic growth and create jobs in the U.S.,” said Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure. “We believe it is critical for business and government to partner together to create more job opportunities in the U.S. and ensure prosperity for all Americans.”

It’s pretty crazy that just by winning the election Trump has already brought thousands upon thousands of jobs back to America, saved hundreds of others, and prompted companies around the world to invest money in American jobs.

There are untold thousands of customer service/call center jobs that have been moved out of the US, requiring varying degrees of knowledge and skill. Some of these Sprint jobs fit into those categories and Trump’s team should target more of them for return to the US.

Liberals on Twitter are going bananas over this.

Threatening to dump Sprint for the horrible crime of bring jobs back to AMERICA for AMERICANS.

There can be no polite way to say this. These people are fugging idiots.

In addition to the 5,000 Sprint jobs there will be 3,000 more at the new OneWeb satellite factory which is also being built by Sprint’s major investor, SoftBank.

All and I do mean ALL of the crazed TRUMP HATERS are the cut of your nose to spite your face morons, whom NOBODY should be “friends” with, nor hire for ANY job.

Yes, it IS crazy. What is much more crazy is that Obama never even TRIED to save or create jobs. He just went in front of crowds and said “those jobs are gone”. True leader. NOT.

Pretty damn good.

That means Tax money for the coffers, too.

Now get rid of some of those bad trade deals...and we may get rid of that monstrous trade deficient.

And those 5000 jobs...create a snowball...those folks all buy goods in their area...producing more jobs. Everyone is a winner.

Think about it though. All he did was win, that’s it. He hasn’t even been sworn in.

Trump has some sort of magic going on. He’s not even sworn in yet!

He is basically the de facto president, particularly because Obama is on another vacation.

That is crazy.

That is how much they hate Trump? That they would punish their fellow citizens??

There’s a lot of stuff that I wish I could get US-made even if it wasn’t as cheap as from China. And I suspect that is true of a lot more people. US-made stuff isn’t even TRYING, sometimes.

Softbank bought AMR last July and will use that to build the IOT - Internet of Things. The IOT is where the jobs are. Sprint and Oneweb will be small parts of a very big IOT.

No, this is all to Obama’s credit, don’t you know! After all, he has laid the groundwork for these successes by destroying the white, patriarchal economy.

(God, I hope a sarc sign isn’t necessary!) This will be coming to an MSM newsreader, soon.

Exactly right. Many US companies aren’t trying to compete.

They’re just living off the scraps of previous generations’ work. They are the kids who chop up and sell the family farm and then wonder why they’re broke already.
