The ultimate shutdown in politics is to compare a political opponent to Adolf Hitler.
And while Donald Trump may have changed much of what we know about politics, that truth lived on in 2016, even if it didn't stop the president-elect from winning. Here are seven times, in no particular order, the national media compared Trump to Hitler.

To Mr. KaKutani of the NY Times, you know that newspaper which resides in that little blue bubble of a strip on the East Coast: We have lived propaganda and fake news for so many years now, coming primarily from your newspaper and the other one, The Washington Post, which is now flexing it’s muscle since Bezos took over, plus NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc., that we have come to know exactly what propaganda sounds and looks like and it is NOT us or Donald Trump. Donald Trump is finally someone who has looked outside the 1% bubble and has found a long-suffering, tolerant, population which has REAL values, real perceptions of reality, and a real knowledge of logic and common sense and they have finally realized that you, the power mongers for so long do not care a whit about them, their ideas (from which real diversity can be found) the future of their kids and whether or not they can ever find a job after going deep in debt to get a college education. They are sick of you elites rewriting history to try to keep yourselves in power. It is a different day now, because millions of people are NOT believing your propaganda anymore. They are ignoring you and using their own brains which is the only way this nation will survive intact. It is up to us to face reality and to solve the problems under our noses, not you, because you know nothing about us and do not care to know anything. However, we believe Donald Trump does know something about us because of his years of rubbing elbows with blue collar people and coming to admire that they are REAL. Come out to the countryside and take a look at real folks, Mr. KaKutani and others like you. You might learn something.
Trump is not enough like Hitler to please me. I see no downside in exterminating every Muslim that will not honor our Constitution. There’s is not a religion; there’s is an ideology that is in direct conflict with Christianity, Judaism and freedom.

Interesting study would be how often did they cheerlead for Clinton vs. trashing Trump.
MSM was infiltrated decades ago by Marxist-socialist minions, part of The Frankfurt School’s plan. They also infiltrated universities, pubic schools, unions, the Democrat party, then church hierarchies.

Does it seem to you that most conservatives are asleep when it comes to Prog control of the culture? To me it is our nation's most serious threat.

I suspect that many conservatives simply can’t believe that Americans actually do what Marx-O-Progs do, that they have difficulty accepting that so many Americans have and will outright lie about so many hings. They have a natural and great faith in their fellow Americans that is largely misplaced.
Trump knows better now. Most FReepers know better.
