One of the few people left nowadays that I still consider worth reading. He will be missed.

86???????? I had no idea he was 86. I thought he was in his late 60s or early 70s.

A very good man.
I would love to spend a day with him.
To: jazusamo
Too bad he’s finishing up. I would enjoy hearing his comments during Trump’s first term.

I will miss Random Thoughts on the Passing Scene. Basic Economics is one of the best books ever. I quote it frequently.

I imagine there might be a commentary here, and there as long as Dr. Sowell feels up to it, but I believe this marks the end of contractual obligations for him.
A well deserved retirement. God Bless Dr. Sowell. His writings, thoughts will be missed.
Thanks for the posts, and pings over the years jaz.

One reading of the works of Thomas Sowell, and one look at Sowell's photographic interpretations of what he sees before him are proof enough of the great potential the Creator has placed within each of His creations!
Bravo, Dr. Sowell! Enjoy this thing we call "retirement." Your work, however, will continue to inspire new generations.
To: jazusamo
God speed, Dr. Sowell. Wish you had been the first black President.
