President Obama says he believes he would have won the 2016 presidential election had he been a candidate.
.
.
.
The president, whose second term ends next month and is, of course, forbidden to seek a third term, told his former senior adviser that based on the conversations he's had even with "some people who disagreed with me" people nationwide have said "the direction that you point towards is the right one."

Thank God for the 22nd Amendment.

Hmm, yeah, um, I meant the actual Framers of the Amendment, yeah, that’s the ticket.
(Just kidding. Thanks for correcting that.)
It was the 22nd for two-term presidential, right?

George Bush Jr. was just as bad. I recall him calling the Constitution just a piece of paper. The only good thing about Bush, Jr. was his wife, Laura. We’ve been in a major slump vis a vis Presidents for some time, culminating in the disaster, Obummer.

It was indeed the 22nd. When even the lefties of the day got scared of the power FDR was accumulating, things were getting bad indeed.

Even worse, there was another
story posted on this subject that reports on Obama actually admitting to weeping at a senior staff send-off dinner. No wonder the world laughs.

Of course he would have. Two terms of cronyism and establishing favors and money would allow that. Geniuses, those Framers.
Yes, were it not for the constitution, he probably would have.

I agree somewhat, but perhaps the voters (intelligently) just vote for who provides them with welfare, contracts, grants, union jobs, federal jobs, inflated retirements, etc.
Maybe ... just maybe .... the Obamaphone lady ....
No forget it you’re right. They’re stupid.

The Framers did not include term limits when they wrote the Constitution. Franklin D Roosevelt's seeking and being elected to a third term caused Congress to write the Amendment limiting a President to two 4 year terms plus he could have previously served 2 years as President after initially serving as Vice-President for a total of 10 years. I am going from memory, so parts of the above may not be correct. George Washing refused to serve three terms gentlemen’s agreement of only serving two consecutive terms originated. Until Franklin D, Roosevelt violated it. History has proven that the Democrats corrupt everything they touch.

Disrespectful scumbag. Never once in my life have I ever propped my feet up like a slouching bag of crap. His feet are on a gift from England, a desk, manufactured from the wood of the HMS Resolute.

people nationwide have said "the direction that you point towards is the right one." The punk's right about one thing, the 20% in the extremely low information voters category think his Marxism is good.

Rush, when he’s back on the air, will point out the same, but Obama is telling Hillary to “TAKE A HIKE, you had your turn”...as the stench of over ripened cabbage is just too much for the Working Class voters to bear.
