AIDS?
HOLY CRAP IS THIS REAL?
I guess he had to “Go-Go.”
RIP.
LAST CHRISTMAS
It’s Christmas. I’ll be nice. RIP to a decade maker (the 1980’s). Didn’t care for the “gay 80’s” music, but he did his best to entertain.
Amazing voice. Very sad. David Bowie. Prince. 2016 has been quite a year.
How did he die? Did he get the jitterbug?
The first thread is two threads below. Why post yours?
Oh my goodness, my sister was just talking about him yesterday and was wondering what ever happened to him. He had a terrific voice. RIP George Michael.
A performer best known for getting arrested in public toilets?
Too young, but given his propensity to exceed design tolerances with his own body, not really surprising. Perhaps he came to light at the last? One can hope.
A few too many forays in public wash rooms scouting for casual sex partners. It’s a dangerous lifestyle choice.
He has a long history of drug use and impaired driving.
My first guess on cause of death would be accidental overdose.
Second guess - deliberate overdose.
Third guess - drug or AIDS related health issue (he almost died from pneumonia several years ago).
Fourth guess - just a bad luck, unexpected, early death.
RiP
Wow. I’ve been practicing this version of “If you were my woman” to audtion on the voice:

Too bad and too young
Should have had roses on the piano, rather than tulips on the organ.
Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) is a serious infection that causes inflammation and fluid buildup in the lungs. It is caused by a fungus called Pneumocystis jiroveci. Likely spread through the air, this fungus is very common. Most people are exposed to it by age 3 or 4. A healthy immune system can easily control it. But it causes a type of pneumonia in people with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV/AIDS.
Before HIV medication was available, PCP occurred in 70% to 80% of HIV-positive people. PCP is still the most common opportunistic infection in people with HIV/AIDS. Those with a CD4 cell count less than 200 are at highest risk. (CD4 cells are a type of immune system cell. HIV attacks these cells.)
About 9% of patients with HIV/AIDS who are hospitalized have PCP.
PCP is still a major cause of death in AIDS patients in the United States. The mortality rate is between 5% and 40%, even with treatment.
Stinking shame. I know he probably isn't loved by everyone here on FR, but the guy had a talent and a singing voice when he was in his prime like NOBODY else. His album "faith" showed a soulful range and a pop fun feel...he apparently fell to the sirens of sexual perversion and drugs and hasn't been an A-list celeb for about 20 years.
Very very sad. I hope he made peace with God before he passed.
