I think with the current climate and the Senate Dems up in 18 that no filibuster will make.

Trumps nominees sail.

If the GOP gets a filibuster-proof majority in 2018, then Pelosi and Schumer will never be able to do such.

I’m thinking the Dems will try to block the nomination(s?) all the way to 2018 - unless we can lure eight across the floor. A few might be willing to bite (to save their jobs against pressure from the DNC machine) but can eight of them do so? That said, there are 10 Dem senators in Trump states...even though several of them are hardline liberals.

Either way, by 2019, there will be several constitutional conservatives new to the bench.
