Like most greens Jamie Henn is a hard core city slicker. City living indirectly consumes much more energy and emits much more CO2 than country living, which is ultimately why it costs so much more. Steel and concrete cliff dwelling is a crime against nature.
I guess that makes me a criminal and I don’t give a s*** :) I’m thinking of starting a group called conservative northeasterners who don’t give a s*** about burning fuel :)
Yes, it's easy to tell from per capita costs, mainly taxes. The costs to live in the country are much lower because there is much less waste. For example we maintain private roads at around $10k per mile per year. In the city they will spend that much in a day just to tear up a road to replace a pipe or sensor.
