Metro said it requested permission to use a photo of Trump but didn’t receive a reply from his campaign. “Due to the long lead time to produce the cards, the new pass commemorates the national celebration of the 58th Presidential Inauguration,” the agency stated.

If it’s really true that Trump’s people didn’t get back to them, then I say it’s a non-story.
Here’s an idea! Let’s quit worrying about little $h!t like this and get on with the business of governing.
The pettiness of government.
It’s easy to check. Get neutral fact-checker who has nothing better to do and doesn’t get paid for doing nothing. Get name of employee who attempted to contact campaign rep; get rep’s contact info and email and phone records; get rep’s response.
I can see this. Before the election they ask the Trump campaign. The Trump campaign gives a Trump picture and the MSM makes a story that Trump is arrogant look they made these passes he thinks this is a coronation. Whether other candidates like Romney, Obama gave theirs before the election would be irrelevant. Does the story mention Hillary giving a picture by the way?
They don’t want to face the fallout from butt hurt snowflakes.
