Since the election victory of Donald Trump, numerous stories have surfaced about hate crimes allegedly tied to supporters of the businessman or to his rhetoric, some true and many not.
Although the Southern Poverty Law Center reports that there have been hate crimes since the election, a number of the incidents have been disproven or shown to be hoaxes or ill-timed jokes. Here are some noteworthy ones.
A Muslim teenager from Long Island by the name of Yasmin Seweid told authorities that she was harassed on the subway by men who yelled "Donald Trump!" while trying to remove her hijab. Within two weeks, the police said that she admitted she was lying because she broke her curfew. She now faces charges of filing and false report.
Immediately after the election, a Muslim woman in Louisiana claimied that she was attacked and had her hijab ripped off. In a statement released not long after that, the Lafayette Police Departmenet said that while investigating the incident, the woman "admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males. . ."

Just like all the pre-election ones. Right wing terrorists mostly work for a living and don’t have time to perform all the necessary hate crimes so the lefties, who have more time on their hands, have to do it for them.
If there were ANY, and I repeat ANY TRUE stories about anti-Muslim hate crimes, these fabricated ones would never have to be invented. There have been DOZENS “dutifully” reported by the handmaiden MSM; inevitably they’re revealed to be hoaxes, and you never hear about that, when the truth about them is revealed. This is yet another mutation of what is now fondly called “Fake News”, and it is probably the WORST kind of Fake News, because it attempts to create a false reality. That’s why Law Enforcement considers it actionable.
.....wish they could be jailed and every media source that reported it should he required to cover the perp walk
Recounts turn out bigger margin for Trump.
EC vote turns out bigger margin for Trump.
No direct evidence from CIA about the claim of Russian hacking.
Over-and-over, Big Media reports fake news.
They don’t care about the truth, they just want to push a narrative that fits an agenda. That is why nobody checks the source, nobody investigates. Truth is irrelevant to these lying degenerates. It’s all about their agenda.
In my opinion, every single one of these reported “hate crimes” is a HOAX until proven otherwise. There better be witnesses and video.
“Hands up don’t shoot” was false news yet the media and Obama White House used it to deliberately spread a false narrative to cause division and racial unrest.
Remember the black church in Greenville, Mississippi that was burned and “Vote Trump” spray painted on it? The media and liberals said it had to be white Trump supporters. I didn’t believe one word of that.
They just arrested a black man.
Everyone filing a “hate crime” hoax should be charged with an actual “hate crime”, handed a 90 day jail sentence, fined $10,000, and made to publicly apologize. The media who ran with the story without any proof, should also publicly apologize, and pledge not to spread these hoaxes any more.
We are so busy that Liberals are doing the hate crimes CONSERVATIVES can't do.
The black church burning was done by a black member of the church. The car and stores in NYC painted with pro-Trump messages and racist slogans was arrested. Yes, you guessed it he’s a black man Hillary supporter.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is terrorist organization....
there are no hate crimes by the right, or very few....we just don't do that stuff....
What about the real hate crime of beating a motorist for presumably voting Trump. Where has that case gone?
[. . .handed a 90 day jail sentence, fined $10,000, and made to publicly apologize.]
If the message defaces public or private property I would add community service removing graffiti from public places.
Shocking! (It’s not)
