I am having trouble believing the terrorist left behind his ID in the truck.
At first sniff, this smells like deliberate misdirection.
I would suspect that he’s found in five days...dead from some fake suicide, and the cops just accept that fact. It’s probably a second guy who actually stole the vehicle and is arranging this for the Tunisian to be the target of the hunt.
Of course his ID was left behind in the vehicle. Often is the case of terrorists leaving their ID’s at the crime scene.
He may have thought it would be a suicide mission.
“At first sniff, this smells like deliberate misdirection.”
If it was misdirection why substitute one muslim for another? Use a white German as the scapegoat.
Yep. ISIS claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack. They usually don't if they didn't. Second, they had it planned. Perhaps the larger terror plan was to have a BOLO on a guy who was previously a refugee in Germany and was recently killed in Syria. This way Germany and Interpol are looking for a dead guy while Europe is on edge the whole Christmas season. Way to go Europe, and especially Merkel, for allowing these Mohammedans in.

Especially since we’ve seen this particularly non-credible method of perpetrator identification used multiple times in the past in these incidents.
When I hear an excuse like that I immediately suspect that a western government, or the Saudis, are behind it.
“I am having trouble believing the terrorist left behind his ID in the truck.”
Might have lost it during the fight with the driver or in the process of running down the victims.
Stupid bad guys leave their IDs at crime scenes all the time. These aren’t rocket scientists we’re dealing with here.
Then again, maybe jihadi perp wanted credit for his deed, anticipating that he would not survive the event. On the other hand, never underestimate the stupidity of terrorists.
Pretty sloppy to leave your id under the seat. Is he “setting up” someone?
Right there with ya.
