This is the Tunisian asylum seeker who has become Europe's most wanted terrorist after his ID was found under the seat in the lorry used to massacre 12 people at a Berlin Christmas market.
Police today revealed they are hunting Anis Amri, 21, a refugee who came to Germany earlier this year. His paperwork was found in truck's footwell.
He is probably armed, 'highly dangerous' and a member of a 'large' Islamic organisation and has weapons training abroad, security sources say.
Despite an unfolding international manhunt the first pictures of him released in Germany

“Questions... questions...”
Yes. Maybe this is known, but where did the truck come from? Was it stolen?
Or leave a fake ID to send LE off on a snipe hunt.
Yes, it is. Almost like he was set-up.
Polish truck hijacked by perp. The Polish driver was shot and slowly died after some struggle inside the drivers cabin.
“If I had had a son, he might have looked like Anus, this poor unfortunate little Tunisian boy”
Another possibility: Perp fully expected to die during/after commission of the terrorist act, then when he didn’t, freaked and bugged w/o his ID.
Exactly. They aren’t “asylum seekers” either. They are invaders.
Yep. I can imagine the perp placed the ID of another “refugee” (perhaps stolen in the asylum centre) below the seat to confuse the investigators.
Why would he put his ID under the seat & leave it there??
Q: Were LEOs on scene armed with weaponry loaded with live ammo, anyone know?
A real professional would have another set of ID with him. As soon as he is done with the truck, bolt the scene and leave the old ID. Let the cops look for your previous self. Change your appearance and, voila, make good your escape.
Good thought. That seems a little 007 for ISIS, but the convenient placement of the ID doesn't seem credible either.

Maybe it fell out of his pocket?
Have you ever dropped your ID in a car and then took several minutes to hunt for it because it fell in some cranny? I’m thinking that’s what happened to this guy’s ID. And he didn’t have time to look for it, and maybe did not realize it had fallen from his pocket. Especially if it fell out while the driver was still fighting for his life.
Thanks. That’s horrible.
Or simply swipe someone else’s ID—preferably someone who has a really good alibi. That should delay things for a few days.
“Real damn convenient the dudes ID is under the seat”
Funny how these IDs show up after a terrorist attack. It’s not the first time.
I would suspect that he’s found in five days...dead from some fake suicide, and the cops just accept that fact. It’s probably a second guy who actually stole the vehicle and is arranging this for the Tunisian to be the target of the hunt.
