My position on both radical islam and Russia is exactly the same as Mike Pence and Cruz. With this issue so front and center do you really think it was an 'accident' that Pence, with his strong anti-Putin stance, was chosen to be Trump's VP? That Trump didn't know Pence's views on Putin?
Of course it's great that islamo-nazis are being killed in Syria. The problem is, what happens afterwards, when Russia ultimately grabs control of the strategic oil/gas-rich Middle East. This as they are making major moves elsewhere.
Then, perhaps you are like the scum who posted this thread (DeathBeforeDishonor1) and are 100% on-board with Putin, no matter what he does. You more than likely are since you didn't criticize him at all for the comments he made.

Russians in Syria are fighting alongside Iranians and Hezbollah, they also have Chchens as a part of their forces. Fighting ISIS is at best 10% of their effort over there. They are mainly fighting against “Syrian opposition”, which is a set of many different groups, some (”moderate islamists”) are islamo-nazis, others are much less islamo-nazis than dudes fighting on the Russian side.
Obama’s ME policy has been crap but Putin's one is surely no better, they just have a different set of “moderate islamists”.
