I’m wondering. Does Cramer, that financial guru, think that we’re NOT in a trade war with China, one that we’re losing?
The ambiguity is in the definition of ‘We’. For Cramer, ‘We’ are the traders who are making a fortune building stuff in an unregulated inhumane distant land then burning fossil fuels transporting the merchandise to foreign lands for sale.
For Trump supporters, the ‘We’ is the Americans who used to make these things and the American consumers who are buying lead painted toys, formaldehyde treated flooring, defective air bags, and exploding batteries.
Cramer’s ‘We’ is happy to exploit Asian labor and environment and American workers and consumers to line their pockets even if they have to pay tribute to the Bushes and Clintons along the way.
Trump’s ‘We’ has had enough of this. We are going to Make America Great Again whether or not Cramer’s ‘We’ likes it.
