“So what’s his point?”
The point is on his head.
He saw how that worked for the Clintons. Unfortunately for him, his wife is not going to be SOS.
Also 0vomit is way more lazy and far more stupid that the Clintons, so the dough will not be rolling in for the 0vomit Foundation.
Far more likely that the 0vomits, the Clintons, and most of their enablers will end up in prison.
It has been estimated by some analysts that about 70% of “law” and regulations accomplished over the last eight years can be reversed by getting rid of 0bama’s executive orders.
Sounds like a start to me
You might want to get that memory checked (says the guy who can't remember what he said a few minutes ago). The Senate passed their version of the bill when they had 60 votes, then had to conference with the House on the version they passed. Once the Dems lost the seat to Scott Brown, they only had 59 votes - so the House accepted the Senate version of the bill. They then passed a "reconciliation" bill (which only takes 51 votes) to "fix" some of the things the House wanted.
Trump is going to have to do something that Obama never did - work with both sides, if he is going to get anything passed. With reconciliation, they can remove some tax/spending related parts of Obamacare, but they will have to get some help from Democrats in the Senate to fully repeal. Since 8-10 Dem Senators who are up for re-election in states Trump won, Trump should have some leverage. But I can see him having to cut some deals that I might not like - but it is that or nothing for 2 years until the next election (then hope for a filibuster proof majority).
