I believe, technically, Trump is “President-elect Presumptive” until after the Monday EC vote.
We need to stop calling then the Mainstream Mediots....there is nothing mainstream about them. They are the enemy.
Throughout my life, and even during Bush/Gore, the meeting of the Electoral College and the casting of their votes was an afterthought. A slam dunk. A pro forma exercise that gave a few people a few minutes in the sun of officialdom.
News coverage was of the oh-by-the-way-the-sun-rose-in-the-East, smart aleck variety: ‘XYZ is officially president elect....’
It goes without saying that the left thinks they can, should, and never will lose but their last-gasp behavior has been truly appalling as they, including the Obamas, foul the nest on their way out. These EC high jinks will probably have the opposite of the intended effect ie the states that lack laws binding electors to the vote total will pass them.
It also proves that there is no public office or assembly, from the local school board on up, that the left will not try to corrupt. Hillary lost, thank God, but the Clintons’ real legacy is the automatic attempt to subvert the law by ignoring it and daring someone to stop them. This mentality has seeped into every federal agency and many state and local offices.

It also goes without saying that hypocrisy continues to be their watchword. They are STILL banging on about the national popular vote - a metric that has no value, no effect, and no reward. But the popular vote within each state IS important and meaningful yet they conveniently forget this.
