I’m going to guess that BO runs for Illinois U.S. Senate, again, and wins, easily, in very blue Illinois.

I don’t think so. That’s too much work. Much easier to pull strings behind the scenes, from the golf course.

Which is why he needs to be put away for life.

Why? Showing up for votes would cut into his golf time.

"I’m going to guess that BO runs for Illinois U.S. Senate,...

I think he might try for governor.
The Senate bores him.
He wants to rule.
He wants to impose his hate America, hate white people
ideology on as many people as he can.

Personally, I’d like him to try, because as I see it, it’s a win-win.
1. He might well loose, given the trouble in Illinois and Chicago, particularly if Trump has any measure of success in rescuing Chicago’s poor blacks.
2. If he did win, he’d most likely be in the “minority” and would be functioning in the political arena as a Senator and not a “retired” President.
Either way, his remaining “power,” whatever that is would be dissipated.

Forgot #3:

He'd have to unseat Dick Turbin, and I don't think @ 76 ( his age in 2020 when the seat opens up), given the number of septuagenarians in the Senate today, he'd step aside for the half-breed. Turbin is a "lifer," who will stay for his state funeral.
