The head of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is “alarmed” the FBI concurred with the CIA’s assessment regarding Russia’s alleged interference in the presidential election without informing Congress.
The CIA has not issued any public statements, and all assertions are based on anonymous leaks.
Congress and the federal government are both currently engaged in concurrent investigations into the allegations that Russia wanted President-elect Donald Trump to win the presidency. FBI Director James Comey agreed with the CIA’s assessment, according to a Washington Post report Friday, however, earlier reports citing lawmakers briefed by the FBI stated the FBI did not concur with the CIA.
“In the course of the House Intelligence Committee’s ongoing oversight of cyber-attacks during the U.S. presidential campaign, we have not received any information from Intelligence Community (IC) agencies indicating that they have developed new assessments on this issue,” said chairman Rep. Devin Nunes in a statement Friday.
Nunes said he was “alarmed” that new information regarding the investigation “continues to leak to the media but has not been provided to Congress,” despite his Dec. 12 letter which requested further information on Russian involvement in the election. Nunes also noted he requested the intelligence community to provide a classified briefing in order to “set the record straight” on its current assessment of the issue.

The FBI has said nothing. Brennan’s letter to the CIA employees claims that the FBI agrees with their assessment. More fake news based on anonymous sources.

The Post story continues the fake news from fake anonymous “officials”.
After all this time, the only named “officials” to state publicly the Russians extracted Podesta’s emails are Brennan and Obama, two very high level partisan hacks, who have likely seen no real data. Nothing public and official from the CIA, FBI, or any other agency.
They are all caught in an enormous lie. How will they get out of it?
Not only did the Russians steal Hillary’s emails, they put them on Huma Abedin’s home computer and pinned it on Anthony Weiner!

I keep hearing about the horror of Russian hacking but nothing about what they did exactly. I think exposing the Democrats dirty laundry is their crime, if they were involved at all.

Actually, Hillary Clinton blamed the white russians for her defeat. Unfortunately, the Obama CIA and FBI misunderstood her, but in a collaborative effort to be on the same team, took up the false narrative of Putin hacking the election. What Clinton really meant, was she was drunk so often, that she forgot to campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Not only will I join you, I can still find the earlier versions where both Comey and Clapper say there are only tenuous indications that do not amount to evidence. Clapper is set to leave his position and Comey is going to have explain things, especially if he refuses to resign. He’s tied to the Clinton Foundation, so he has few choices, IMO.
I do not believe that anyone knows how corrupt the Government actually is. Each time it seems that they have reached the bottom, they descend to a new level. What seems consistent is that they all believe that they are gods meant to be worshiped and that they hold the Citizen in the basest of contempt. Along with the belief that they are the masters and we are the slaves.

Since we haven’t unraveled the Gordian Knot or cleaned out the Aegean Stables yet, I’m loathe to assign beliefs to either Comey or Clapper, just yet. Both have people above them. Both are presently constrained by a corrupt Executive and DOJ. Brennan we understand and even there, it probably isn’t the entire agency. We know Comey has opposition from the ranks and hopefully things will become a lot clearer after 1/20/17.
Lynch et al are Soros’ bag men. The media makes Comey seem like an independent actor who favors their side and he is a CF donor.

this why is it always through anonymous reports of the Washington Post or in the Press
why are these guys not going before the Congress intelligence committee when requested
I really feel more comfortable when we get past this electoral college vote because there seems to be some kind of smoke screen
We keep having press making leak news reports but we never hear it directly from the individuals
Obama would never have been elected if he hadn't been half black or his sonorous voice when telling the world..."Now is the time"....Hope and Change was the chant in an election years ago...no one would vet Barry...his story was too dysfunctional as were his college years...Barry had/has backers who put him on top with no questions asked...for socialism as government.
Had anyone looked or asked about Community Organizing...they would have found Marxism was the point, collectivism and equality for all.....HA!
