I have no problem with an increase in the tax deduction for dependent children, or with tax exemptions aimed at helping parents cover the expenses of raising kids.
Anything that obligates taxpayers and/or employers should be DOA.

Far better to just have lower income tax rates across the board.
Deductions and exemptions take away and work against the incentive we want probably for parents most of all.

Anything that obligates taxpayers and/or employers should be DOA.Yes.. this is a taxation issue. A stay at home, mom or dad, should have the same tax deduction as is allowed for daycare. There should be no more taxation/mandates and regulations without representation.
