McCain was born in Panama under the same circumstances my son was born in Korea, because the parent was in the military. Any place the US has an installation or diplomatic mission, the US flag makes it the same as American soil - for tax purposes and citizenship. There was not need to pass a resolution except for showmanship. The so called lawmakers know and understand the laws - hence it was to eventually dupe everyday Americans and confuse them as to what constitutes citizenship.
Citizen is not the same as natural born citizen.
Natural born citizen is only applicable to the Presidency.
The Senate passed the resolution as cover to take attention away from Obama.
Not so.
A US installation overseas is nt US territory.
McCain was born on American soil - the Panama Canal Zone.
Korea is not US soil. Citizenship at overseas bases derives from the citizenship of the American parents.
Was your son born on the US military base in a military hospital? Or, like McCain, off the US military base in a civilian hospital?
