Obama is just a whiny little girl pretending to be a man.

He thinks he’s snarky. Trump is having none of it.

He has got to be the most stuck up, arrogant, full of his own self importance, lies all day long every day press secretary I have ever seen.

He is absolutely perfect for Obama.

He may actually be more unlikable than Hillary Clinton.

Yep, how refreshing to have someone in office who stands up to the uppity drama queen liberals and tells it like it is. It’s been YEARS waiting for this. I’m enjoying it quite a bit.

He takes orders from Obama.

This is Obama trying to bring Trump down a notch or two.

But Trump isn’t your typical establishment Republican politician trying not to rock the boat.

Trump didn’t promise to preserve the status quo in Washington. He was elected as an outsider vowing to do the opposite.

Obama doesn’t know who he is dealing with.

Yep.

They are dealing with someone completely out of their league now, and someone who does not play by and is not bound by their rules.

I know a lot of folks thought Bush was the real deal. I never saw him that way. It used to really bother me all the support he received, when he didn’t do much to deserve it.

It was maddening the way he allowed the Left to do things. It made me wonder if the guy was smart enough to grasp what the Left was doing. Okay, even if he wasn’t the sharpest pencil in the box, you’d think some of his staff would clue him in.

Nothin...

Sad. Eight years, and a lot less to show for it than the nation deserved. And the bad, ouch. It was fierce.

Josh Earnest is three neurons short of a synapse. [Hint: He isn’t a rocket scientist. He’s a low life political hack.]

Well put. We were all so very desperate to end the 8 years of horror under Bubba and stop Manbearpig that we didn’t see that Dubya was just another Establishment RINO tool who basically was not a Conservative. Open borders, not committed to smaller government or curtailing spending, and ultimately failed policies on the situation in the Middle East (and worse, repeating the Big Lie about Mohammadans being peaceful). All of those left an awful legacy (not entirely his doing, the party establishment and incompetent GOP leadership helped to compound the problem).

Add to that having 2 Socialist fake ringers as the Presidential nominee in ‘08 and ‘12, each whose goal was to prevent Zero from having a viable Conservative opponent who might dare to win. I frankly think Dubya was quite proud to have Zero as his successor. I truly lament that Reagan ever chose a Bush to be his VP instead of Paul Laxalt. The damage the Bushes, the Clintons and Zero have done to this country in the past 28 years has been incalculable.

“Whether folks want to admit it or not, Iraq is much better today than it was in 2002.”

Yes, there were benefits. Saddam was a threat to the entire middle east. We built up the military and many in our military, including Generals Kelly and Mattis, gained tremendous amounts of experience from the war. We can’t turn back the clock so we should build on what we’ve achieved.

But were those benefits worth the cost? That is something most Republicans never wanted to ask before.

Thanks for that. I agree with your take on it.

I particularly agree about Bush. I say that thinking that Bush did hurt us, but of the last four presidents, he hurt us least. Having said that though, look what he handed off. He got the ball rolling down hill and it hasn’t stopped until Trump.

Clinton, Bush, and Obama..., what a sad 24 years we had there. We went from a frat-boy child, to a marble mouth incompetant, to a closet Islamic _resident traitor.

Here’s a good example IMO.

Reagan is talked into granting amnesty to about 1 million illegals. That’s what he is told. Then 3.5 million sign up. Reagan was lied to.

As part of the deal, he signed new legislation that cracked down on employers and enhanced border patrol.

Bush didn’t enforce one bit of it. Inland enforcement was discontinued. This continued until the present.

Now we have 30 million plus illegals in country, and countless others have been placed on the fast track to citizenship.

The nation was betrayed. Our presidents became lawless. Our nation was occupied by foreign nationals.

If we knew the half of it.

Every time Trump says something I know some folks will groan about, I think back to Bush who just let the media and Leftists walk all over him, without so much as a whimper.

In eight years, it never dawned on the guy that by doing that, he was letting them walk on us too.

Exactly right! Several years ago at CPAC in DC, my husband had the opportunity to ask Karl Rove face to face this exact question: WHY the heck didn't GW Bush ever fight back? Why does he let the media and leftists always walk all over him?

The audience roared with approval at my husband's question. Rove stood up there looking all confused, like a deer in the headlights. He finally uttered some gibberish crap "answer" like: "President Bush always fights back... I don't know what you're talking about. He's given press conferences... blah blah blah"

Pathetic.

It’s never easy to say the cost was worth it, when my family members didn’t die, my family members weren’t maimed in service to our nation. None the less, these are the costs of every war. Our men fought valiantly, tirelessly, in conditions that were terrible.

Say what you want about our nation’s flaws at times, but our service men and women are incredible.

People say we shouldn’t be involved. I guess they favor Russia or China being involved, and we just stay at home and forget about being a major global player any longer.

Sounds just like a page out of the McGovern playbook.

The financial cost is rather misleading IMO. When Bush came into office, the national debt was about $5.9 trillion dollars. When he left office it was about $10.9 trillion dollars. Many people attribute this solely to the war. It wasn’t.

Total estimates for the war are somewhere around $2.0 to $2.5 trillion dollars. Even that is somewhat misleading, because some of those funds would have been spent on the military anyway.

Out of the $5 trillion dollars Bush ran up, less than half was war related. He and Congress just couldn’t get it through their heads, that we needed to balance our budget.

Look at what the financial meltdown cost us. That went on Bush’s and Obama’s balance sheet.

I believe the cost of the war was worth it. The Middle-East was under fairly good control post the Iraq war. Bush did wind that down decently.

Obama destabilized it again in part by pulling all our troops out. Soros, Obama, Clinton, McCain, and Graham started a firestorm in the M/E.

It’s winding down now in Syria. I think Russia did us a favor by ending the hostilities in Eastern Syria.

Our buffoons couldn’t have done a worse job of things.

What did we expect with Obama/Kerry/Clinton in charge.

At any rate, thanks for the comments.

Pathetic is the right word.

LOL

Good for your husband. Someone needed to ask that question every single day.

I can’t believe Rove hasn’t been laughed off the public stage by now. He missed every prediction this last 18 months concerning Trump.

I think he made about seven to ten of them.

Didn’t hit on a one of them.

It’s too bad Trump didn’t step up back in 1996 or 2000. He may have surmised the country wasn’t ready for him and that only when the political class had bled us dry and laid us to waste would the public be begging for substantive and unapologetic leadership.

How many realized that Tokyo Rove was the enemy early enough ? We thought he was the tops here early on until his mask fell off and he was revealed to be nothing but the hatchet man for the leftist RINO establishment.

I started to catch wind of his stench back in 2002 when he was going all out to recruit old RINOs like Lamar! Alexander to pollute the Senate instead of hard-charging Conservative reformists like Ed Bryant here in TN.

Rove’s fingerprints are on almost every failed or backstabbing weasel RINO of the past 2 decades, including “Linda” Graham and “La Raza Rick” Perry, whom he personally helped bring over from the Democrats.

What baffles me is that what was extraordinarily clear to me, couldn’t be seen by all the Washington yakking class.

Defending our borders, our territory, our jobs, none of this was important to them.

Bill Clinton’s treachery wasn’t important. Our nation headed toward a lending industry cliff wasn’t important. Obama arming terrorists in the Middle-East, not important.

At no time did anyone seriously do anything to stop any of this,

McCain was heralded as the party leader. Trump sent folks into a panic attack.

What the hell was going on here?

Everyone in Washington, D.C., essentially turned on our own nation and tried to destroy it.

I don’t think that is overstating it either.
