aren’t the secretaries of state of the varies states supposed to ensure candidates are qualified to be on the ballot. In the case of the president that would require a birth certificate.
California once eliminated Eldridge Cleaver from the ballot because he was too young. How do you determine that?
In addition, the Twentieth Amendment, Section Three requires that someone who is "President-Elect" provide proof of meeting the eligibility requirements for President or Congress is instructed to name an interim President who does meet the requirements. The burden of proof is placed upon the person seeking the office. If you don't have a valid birth certificate, you can't legally serve. Congress avoided their duty twice and we have suffered a usurpation because of it.
