That’s what has already long since happened.

Pain management in the United States is an absolute nightmare of nanny-state overregulation and prohibitionist Puritanism - a 200 proof cocktail of pure tyranny.

What an individual chooses to do to manage their own pain - whether physical, mental or both - is rightfully nobody business but their own.

I confess I struggle to comprehend the level of self-righteous arrogance it takes to appoint oneself the dictator of others’ choices in this matter.

My primary care physician told me that he has been forced, by recent Gummint rules, to drop 19 of 22 patients he had for whom he prescribed monthly pain meds.

Whatever happened to the sacrosanct doctor-patient relationship and priviledge? The Hypocratic Oath? This is so wrong, it's actually immoral.
