"I believe that Donald Trump is a unique danger to our country and the Founding Fathers put the Electoral College in place to, among other things, stop that from happening," said Chiafalo, 38,... And what would he call the current occupant of the White Hut?

There is one Elector from Dallas TX who is saying he will not vote for Trump. Under Texas law, can they replace him?

Democrat whining about the election.
After Monday, hopefully reality will settle in with them.
That said, its gonna be a fun four years.

It will be fun, but I’m expecting the legacy media to start spinning nonsense about the Jan 6, 2017 electoral vote tabulation sometime after Monday.

Always Propagandists living up to their name. And they wonder why they have a credibility issue with the US public?

Texas GOP Elector Risks Criminal Charges to Snub Trump; Law Allows Him To Be Replaced
Excerpt:
Texas law allows the electors to declare an intended faithless elector ineligible and replace him at the elector meeting in Texas. This will help the voters and the faithless elector by preventing him from being accused of a crime, like election fraud or perjury.

Actually, I hope that it doesn’t. LET them continue in their delusions, LET them fail to examine why they lost - not just the Presidency, but at all levels of government. I don’t want them to examine themselves, but instead to keep doing the same thing - so that they further alienate themselves from the American electorate.
LET them become a fringe, urban party that constantly whines, and is seen as full of batshit crazy people (which, apparently, it is). Please, let’s not stop our enemies from destroying themselves.

The fact that no alternate candidate is out there making noise puts the kibosh on the Dems plots; see this snippet:
“...The Associated Press tried to reach all 538 electors and interviewed more than 330 of them, finding widespread Democratic aggravation with the electoral process but little expectation that the hustle of anti-Trump maneuvering can derail him. For that to happen, Republican-appointed electors would have to stage an unprecedented defection and Democrats would need to buck tradition, too, by peeling away from Hillary Clinton and swinging behind a consensus candidate in sufficient numbers....”

All this whining and hoopla over the EC and its unfairness only further illustrates that liberals really think rural America is not worth anything.
To libs only the opinions of folks in big cities, universities, and news media counts for the election.
It would be a lot less expensive to have a contest simply be a referendum on issues by voters in NY City and Los Angeles.
It would give us a dictatorship, and apparently that is what liberals want. No respect for anyone other than their own lofty [non]ideals.

Whether they like Trump or not, and some surely don't, scores of the Republicans chosen to cast votes in the state-capital meetings told AP they feel bound by history, duty, party loyalty or the law to rubber-stamp their state's results and make him president.Typical AssPress.
RUBBER-STAMP??!?
How about "FULFILL THEIR OBLIGATION".
