The notion that Hillary won the popular vote simply shows that she was a lousy campaigner!
To win the campaign, you don’t seek popular votes. You focus on key states with electoral votes that you need. States like PA, MI, WI. Hillary apparently didn’t understand that concept. She ran a lousy campaign that lacked the focus she needed.
Sure, she got a lot of votes in California, but that wasn’t the mission. She ran a lousy campaign and completely failed to accomplish what she needed to do.
DId Donald Trump set food in California during the campaign? And why does winning the “popular vote” there matter to anyone, except that it gives some measure of comfort to those who emotionally distraught at Hillary!’s loss?
It’s not difficult to imagine that, in fact, huge numbers if not millions of illegals voted in CA. It’s also the case that many native Californians have given up on voting as the state has swung into deep blue over the past couple of decades. If there were an actual contest there, the result might have been different, certainly as to the margin between the candidates.
