This professor is a poor liar. If one is going to concoct a lie, one shouldn’t use round numbers like 20. If he said 17 or 21 electors, it would sound more believable. Choosing a round number is a rookie mistake when telling a lie.
2. NEVER trust MSM pre-election polls
And Hillary’s got a double digit lead over Trump nationwide...
Boy, I sure missed out on buying those popcorn futures.
Liberals have a conscience? HAHAHAHA. “faithless electors”? From the party that denied GOD three times?
“Faithless” = “Threatened”
It’s not going to happen. But if it did, if the election is given to Hillary in this way, the Constitutional system would have ceased to function. The next day is uncharted territory.
If this were true, I’d be very careful ordering a burrito from Taco Bell in any state capital Taco Bell where missing faithless electors cast their vote. The meat in those burritos might have a peculiar taste.
An interesting little read
This whole corruption of elector movement is despicable. The elections were carried out based on the assumptions that electors are supposed to vote a certain way. After the election, to change the rules is an attempt to nullify the whole electoral process after the fact, and it is completely irresponsible and deplorable.
Liberals are still stuck on denial. If they overturn the results of the ballot box (after suppressing freedom of speech from the soap box and usurping the proper role of the jury box), that would be unfortunate. The next stage of denial is anger, and I don't think America's totalitarian domestic enemies want to see righteous anger.
Hillary voters: we laugh at them when they're angry..
Trump voters: they wouldn't like us when we're angry.
Mr. Lessig had better hope there is no disruption of the proper electoral process, otherwise we are coming up on “Shoot a Transformer for Trump Day”. It gets cold in Cambridge.
Will this guy resign in disgrace when he is wrong?
The degree of “progressive” cheating during this election is disturbing.
Lock him up for attempting to foment a coup to overthrow the constitutionally elected president.
Joseph Campbell said that every civilization had the same stories over and over again.
This is the part where the hero has fought their way through an impossible Republican primary, won an impossible general election, battled through legal challenges and recounts and now....
(we catch our breath for a few days)......
Then he has to survive faithless electors and a cold January Washington DC inauguration....
and five impeachment attempts and another five assassination attempts.....
and a re-election campaign....
and America is great again....
and at the end of the play he turns to the audience and says
“Now you—yes you—go out there and schlong them!”
Oh, oh! Hahvid! The headline said “Harvard.” One can’t begin to measure the volume of foolishness that comes from the mouths of Harvard professors and students, all of whom learn to love the taste of their own words. Harvard students and faculty rest til their dying day on the laurel of having been admitted there to study or teach. Where do you teach, sir? Where did you go to college? “Cambridge,” he says with overweening arrogance masked as humility.
Time will soon tell the answer.
“Lessig says” is liberal flavor of the week. Week is half over.
Research shows as of 2014 a candidate needs 270 votes to win. I had no idea that the rules changed. It used to be the most votes.
Imprison Professor Lessig for running a Coup d’Etat and damaging the lawful voting rights of others.
Isn’t this the definition of subversion?
I’m surprised that lefties, who used our traditions and process to gain such power, are so enamored with mob rule. Had mob rule prevailed along the way, they’d never have reached their height of power.
