I doubt Trump’s IQ is that high. He’s got too much common sense ;-)

“I dont give a rat’s arse what the left thinks of Nixon, he’s one of my faves.”

Nixon was an IDIOT. He gave us the left-wing agencies (like EPA) that strangled this country. He was a DREAM COME TRUE to the left...but they took him out anyway.

But I do understand why people on our side would side with him. The Dems, under Obama and Clinton, did MUCH WORSE than Nixon ever dreamed of. It was a HUGE SCANDAL when Nixon tried to use the IRS against an enemy - the IRS wisely told him to take a hike, but all hell broke loose. The IRS under Obama...

My only point is that Nixon was no friend to conservatives - he was as bad as Bush Sr., who doubled-down on Nixon’s left-wing programs, in addition to giving us the Wheelchair Act, re-issuing the “Civil Rights (i.e., quota) Act”.

But the left can go to hell in calling Nixon corrupt...considering what they gave us under both Clinton and Obama - and, for that, it’s great to see Trump STICK IT IN THEIR FACES with the letter.

He was better than Kennedy.

“He was better than Kennedy.”

Barely, if that. Kennedy got us to the Moon. Nixon CANCELLED the last 3 missions, even though ALL of the hardware had already been built.

And I still think Nixon should have won the 1960 election.

The first election I was ever involved was the Nixon campaign back in 1960. I was 10 years-old and was helping out at the local Republican headquarters along with my parents by stamping Nixon's picture on envelopes with a rubber stamp (LOL). I even drew a Nixon/Kennedy political cartoon that was published in our local paper when my teacher sent it in (a precursor to the political cartoons I later drew for our newspaper in college). I was very disappointed when Nixon lost and my Dad (a newspaper photographer) said he was cheated out of it.

“I know your question is not directed at me, but in modern times, it’s gotta be Trump. He withstood more attacks from the left than any single politician since the 60’s and came out a winner.”

Substitute left with right and the sentence is still true.

In my memory, the “right” has never fought so hard against anyone else.

“What’s next a bust of Joe McCarthy.”

I’d settle for a return of Winston Churchill, with a public apology to England on behalf of the Fraud.
