You might want to do this for French, Spanish, German and Italian first, where actual nouns have genders. Let's see how these protesters have to deal with Academie Française and the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF) in Montreal on noun genders.

If I use standard language about a neutral subject, and you are offended, then it’s not my speech, but your thinking that is offending you.

Oxford University wants to replace “he and “she” with “ze”.

But, they failed to consider the possessive and objective. Would that be “zis” and “zers”, and “zim” and “zer”.

And what about the plurals? Would that be “zey”, “ziers”, and “zem”.

How about just using “it”, or would they make that “zit”and “zits”?

Zey should go f—k zemselves!
