Hacking operations against America’s two major political parties during the election may have been the result of a false flag operation carried out by the Obama administration, despite accusations against Russia, former US ambassador John Bolton says.
When asked if by using the phrase “false flag,” he was implying that the US government had played a role in the hacking, Bolton said “we just don’t know.”
However, the former UN ambassador said he believes “intelligence has been politicized in the Obama administration to a very significant degree.”

Bolton said this means that a “really sophisticated foreign intelligence service would not leave any cyber fingerprints, and yet people say they did leave fingerprints in the hacks regarding our election.”

The contemporary term false flag describes covert operations that are designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by entities, groups, or nations other than those who actually planned and executed them. FYI

Nobody “hacked Georgia” (that we know of). They reported they had hits on their firewall from fedgov IP addresses, but the firewall would have stopped those.
The claim that this "meddling" is enough to nullify an election is nonsense for many reasons, the most important of which is that the alleged meddling amounted to the release of FACTUAL information about the DNC and the Clinton campaign. Exposing Clinton's dirty tricks wasn't "fake news" or lies, it was about revealing facts. In the end, it doesn't matter who leaked that information, facts are facts. The Clintonites and their Intelligence allies are basically whining that the truth about the DNC and the Clinton campaign is what sunk them. Maybe they should have run a cleaner, less corrupt campaign, in which case there would be nothing to hide and nothing to be embarrassed by even if a leak did occur.
I wish Bolton were more forthright. No weasel words.
