Nonsense...this is the third election in a row where the gop candidate received fewer votes than the dim.

The Republicans should be able to maintain a lock on the Senate and the majority of the state governorships and legislatures, because Republicans are the majority in a majority of the states.

The House and the Presidency are a serious problem though. Republicans continue to control the House because of successful gerrymandering. Republicans can only continue to win the Presidency due to the Electoral College. I doubt that a Republican candidate is going to win the popular vote again in my lifetime, because of the overwhelming Democrat majority in the urban areas.

The Republican long term strategy needs to be to continue to build support in all of the rural majority states and write off California and most of New England.

We presume everyone with a R after their name is a true conservative.

We've seen too many times that does not bear out.

I'd rather be in our shoes though than dimocrat shoes.
