Rudy was with Trump at the Army/Navy game yesterday. They are still good friends from what Rudy says & actions appear to bear those words out. I suspect Trump is going to have a “kitchen cabinet” (a group of unofficial advisers to a political leader, esp when considered to be more influential than the official cabinet) & Rudy & Newt will be sitting around the table often. I personally don’t believe a cabinet post is the only way that Trump has to show appreciation for loyalty.
Sorry for the double post - FR is a little wonky this morning - hit preview or post & I get a blank screen. Sometimes the post goes through, sometimes not & the one time I didn’t check ..... double!

I think it is still related to the outage yester afernoon.
They’ll get it fixed but at least it’s up and running.
Can we please have somebody who scored higher that a C in High School science and math?
He doesn’t remember.
So don't worry, Rudy is still a close friend of soon-to-be President Trump.
Trump's dumping of Sara after she saved his A$$ in Iowa and Michigan is EXTREMELY disappointing to me.
She supported him from Day 1 - 100%.
My understanding is that he was offered two top jobs and turned them down. Is that right?
I keep getting a blank screen too, I thought it was my tablet. I’m glad to hear that Rudy was with Trump.
I was thinking the same thing.
Where did the false meme come that Rudy only wanted to be SOS? Or was there a credible source on that, that I missed.
Well we now have an SoS who struggled to get a C in college Calc. Perhaps that's why he became a CEO.
It’s ok. That mentality will go a long way toward shrinking it to feasibility of abolition.
There are too many ‘said to be’ reports that turn out to be wrong.
These newsies need to find some better sources. Their integrity and credibility are suffering greatly. They are too busy trying to further the narrative than report the actual news.
My understanding is that he was offered two top jobs and turned them down. Is that right?

Don’t know about turning any down but here is Rudy a few days ago

GIULIANI: I decided, I guess it was about 10 days ago, November 29th, that the whole thing
was becoming kind of very confusing and very difficult for the President-elect and my desire to be
in the cabinet was great but it wasnt that great and he had a lot of terrific candidates and I
thought I could play a better role being on the outside and continuing to be his close friend and
advisor. Thats sort of the role I played during the campaign, I never worked for the campaign
- I was never part of it. It gave me a certain degree of independence in being able to give advice
and I saw that he had so many good candidates available, I mean there was no reason to complicate
his life any longer. So I withdrew back on the 29th.

Ok, thanks.
He worked for middle eastern companies/countries.
The is no way that was going to help him.
La Raza Rick would evidently eliminate (in the name of the prophet)anything not Halal, unless the natives of Atzlan desired them.
“NO ONE on here believes Rudy said a month ago he didnt want any positions.”
I do. the man is 72 years old, has a trophy wife, tons of money, several businesses he’d have to give up, has nothing left to prove, and could very well not want to have to work his ass off in charge of some massive D.C. bureaucracy.
thanks everyone for the responses. I think you are right. When someone is in your cabinet there is a spot light. Especially for someone as well-known and dynamic as Rudy. It would be better to get informal advice.
