Or how he can blithely upset with a phone call the absurdly delicate balance of our relations with China and Taiwan

China is not going to dictate who the president of the United States can talk to on the phone.

Back when the conventional news media had credibility and standards and really mattered, such a declaration by a recognized pundit would have been shocking and taken up in serious discussion. Now it is just another bit of abuse and insult hurled at Trump — and of utterly no consequence.

Kinda amazing to see WaPo already reduced to such trash in order to obtain clicks. At this rate of descent, in less than two years, WaPo will be on a par with vox.com in terms of credibility, utility, influence, AND clicks!

Now that we all agree that fascism == Hitler/Mussolini, when can the government stop funding NPR government-financed propaganda?

As God is my witness, I thought Michael Kinsley died 10 years ago or more.
Turns out, he’s been fired more times than Obama’s crack pipe.

They spent a year and a half telling everyone that he was just a crazy, irrational idiot, and now they’re realizing that that is obviously not true and they need a new schtick. Fascist works.

The author is talking out rectum while on heavy duty drugs.
The closing drivel he ended with proves it:

“Just to be clear: If I’m correct that Trump actually has a governing philosophy, that’s a bad thing, not a good thing. If he actually has principles to guide him through those famous swamps he plans to drain, that’s alarming, not reassuring. Bad principles are not a good substitute for no principles. Four or eight years of bad principles may make no principles look pretty good.”

Seriously?
Not having a moral compass or guiding principles is better?
The author obviously didn’t think it through when he wrote that nihilism espousing pablum.
The harbor seems to be far more comfortable with sociopathic behavior!

If Kinsley doesn’t even know what a fascist is, think about the zero information Trump haters who think Trump’s police will be lining them up against a wall and shooting them. I remember the days when they called Ronald Reagan “Rayguns,” and people thought that President Reagan will be zapping the opposition with laser weapons mounted on helicopters.

Donald Trump is a fascist.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nope, not according to any known test of history.

Its actually Barrack Obama who is the fascist according to history.

Good Read:

“Barrack Obama: The Quintessential Fascist,” by Kyle Anne Shiver:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/05/barack_obama_the_quintessentia_1.html

And the term “fascist” is not reserved for “special occasions,”its an historical term. The word was largely defined historically by Professor Gilbert Allardyce, whose student I was.Knowing exactly what fascism is allows one to defend freedom and liberty with a great deal of clarity.

Donald Trump is no fascist, not even close.

But now that we’ve seen a bit of him in action, it seems that Trump actually does have a recognizable agenda that explains how he simultaneously can pander to big business generally while “strong-arming” (the words of a Post editorial Friday) an air conditioning manufacturer to save a few hundred jobs for a while.

Fascism is government colluding(corruption) with business for the enrichment of both. It is government being paid to give business everything the want regardless of the harm caused to the American people.

And what do Big Cap globalist companies want? They want two things: unfettered access to US markets(no tariffs) and unfettered access to 3rd world labor. Call this the globalist cookie jar. The tax and regulation "problem" is a red herring. What they really want is to keep that cookie jar open to them at all costs.

What we have had in the USA for the last 30 years is blatant fascism in order to keep that cookie jar full and readily accessible. What Trump did with Carrier is to slam the lid on the cookie jar. To me that is the opposite of fascism.
