Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald is the definition of fake news.
Eichenwald tweeted Thursday night that attendees at Donald Trumps victory rally actually booed when the President-elect announced the passing of the late, great John Glenn.
He would later go on to delete the tweet, but not before being screenshotted by Mediaites Alex Griswold and receiving thousands of retweets. (Mediaite)
Trump supporters booed John Glenn when Trump mentioned his name at todays rally, he wrote. A real American hero who risked his life [for] us. They booed.
Eichenwald doubled down on the claim, which was soon to be proven totally false.
Just as Eichenwald was poo-pooing Iowans who voted for Trump, LA Times reporter Mike Memoli tweeted what really happened. Memoli explained that the booing Eichenwald referenced was actually directed at hecklers holding a sign reading, Iowa says no.
He also included Trumps joke about the interruption: I think theyre actually on our side. They just dont know it yet.
After being exposed, Eichenwald apologized for his mistake with a third tweet.
They just keep surprising me on how low they are willing to go.
Another self-loathing Jew?
Dunno. Scumbag liberal lefty, for sure.
The moon landing was real?
This reporter truly has Trump Derangement Syndrome. He is the reporter who has epilepsy, the one some thought Trump was making fun of during one of his rallies
Of course it was later corrected~Trump was not making fun of him, but the reporter has written many nasty, untrue stories regarding Trump and the campaign.
He knows that the impact is in the initial tweet—a retraction later means little because so few low-information people follow that carefully. He should be fired!
I was there. We were booing the protesters they escorted out.

I’m keeping a mental list of all fake news stories but they are so numerous I’ll just comment on every thread and compile a list.
It is so hard to track all this fake news while dodging sniper bullets.
He was with NewsLeak. What else does one need to know?
P.S Are you still in the Land of the Rising Sun, or was it the PRC. I might have forgotten, but I forget if I forgot.
I’m 72 now...
I would like to commend Eichenwald for lying to the public because he presented another clear example to the world of why the mainstream news media in the U.S. has become despised and discredited by the vast majority of American citizens.
