Ha ha! That's the kind of thing an out-of-touch person her age would think.
Yep.
A few years ago, my mother was talking to some black people and mentioned the words Afro American. Their eyes widened and later I told her that term isn’t used anymore. She got upset, hung up on me and called me back later to see what term was most ‘up to date’.
The AAs didn’t get upset. My mother is old and we all just quietly smiled to each other.
But yes, out of touch and needs to be put to pasture and retirement.
She could be alluding to the age of the voting machines. In some areas these might date back to the age of the floppy disk.
BUT, even conceding that possibility to Stein, her alleged floppy disk-carrier would have to have access to every single machine, and mess with each one individually.
Could that kind of machine tampering be done? Seems unlikely to me, because
(1) machines are stored under lock and key between elections, then each one is re-calibrated by a group of election officials just before re-use; and
(2) tampering with each machine would be so labor intensive as to be effectively impractical.
