Jill Stein: People Walk Around With Floppy Disks to Hack Voter Machines
Washington Free Beacon ^ | December 7, 2016 | Chandler Gill

Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto on Wednesday that people walk around with floppy disks in order to hack and reprogram voter machines.

Stein–who is attempting to launch election recount efforts in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to contest Donald Trump’s victory–first explained the indicators that people looked for when a machine is suspected of being tampered with or having an error.

“So the indicators that they look for if they want to see a machine error or a foul play or tampering, you look for a couple of indicators,” she said. “So one is close race. You also look for an outcome which is the opposite of what was suggested by the polls and the exit polls.”

I can’t decide which is most stupid: Jillary’s floppy disc comment, or her assertion that the race was close (fourth in a four way race and 48% behind each of two rivals ain’t “close”), or that the results were the opposite of the polls (many of which were rigged by the Democrats as exposed in WikiLeaks, but all of which accurately predicted she would be fourth).

To think she gave up a career in Phrenology for this.

Oh, sure ... deny voter fraud for 8 years, but then cry voter fraud when the person you didn’t want to win won after all.

Has Stein been freeze dried for a while? There hasn't been 'floppy disks' used in a decade.

I still use them, and you can still buy drives online relatively cheap. Unless, of course, she means 5.25" disks. Then she's just being ridiculous.

Government computers don’t use floppy disks anymore!”

Considering some of the things I have seen come out of government offices this year I wouldn’t want to bet that all their systems are up to date. Know that music on 78’s is coming back this year but a floppy for data is stretching it back a little far.

IDIOT has a doctorate and is that dumb? I am not the most computer literate person on the planet, but a Floppy disc have been replaced by USB’s or little memory cards. Even my Note 3 has a Micro Memory Card. At best you get a CD, for most programs, they are now downloadable when you buy them to your PC mainframe.

I buy Kindle books, not paper backs any more. Click or two of the mouse and I have a new book to read.

Hubby taught computers nearly 40 yrs, daughter owns her own IT business.

The FBI has issued a BOLO for 3 persons-of-interest seen lurking outside numerous polling sites. Here's a picture:

Remember the paper-ish 5-1/4" floppy? I always wondered why the plastic 3-1/2" disc was called a "floppy" - shouldn't it be called a "stiffy"?

The disc itself was floppy...the hard plastic was just a case....apologies if you already were aware of that..

They are? I inherited a stack of thick, hard 78's from an aunt and was wondering if I should just throw them away or what.

Yes, I was a programmer from the 70's forward but I could never able to popularize the "Stiffy" joke.

Must be the only one that found it funny.

Still didn't...

Many years ago, my grandmother asked me, “What is this thing I keep hearing about... ‘Door 95’??

Me: “You mean, Windows 95?”

Grandmother: “Oh, yeah.”

lol...yes I worked in IT for many years. My favorite joke was making male co-workers say "I have a 3 1/4 floppy..." and then replying "Hey...keep your personal life to yourself...".
