Actually, it is brilliant because it puts everyone on notice.

Exactly. PEOTUS Trump is shaping the battlefield now for the coming war.

Don’t YOU have more important things to do than bitch about Trump taking 10 seconds out of his life to tweet about how lousy the unions are at representing their members?

My my.

I guess not.

Similarly, you took 10 seconds to respond to me.

I realize that Trump is great at playing the media. But at some point he's gotta let some of this stuff ride. Arguing with a union leader? Much larger fish to fry. Next thing you know he'll be tweeting about a community organizer. ;-)

Union leadership is in large part, the reason why these so called 'free trade' deals were made in conjunction with the uniparty. We the people are forced by the long arm of 'government' to abide by minimum wages, which is what unions use to negotiate their contracts. Union leadership is one and the same as the democrat party.. they cannot survive without government action.

Disagree, letting little things slide brought us abortions on demand, gay marriage, non stop obsessions about Trannys and an overall decay in the culture. Who would have thunk 20 years ago that people would be called bigots for suggesting marriage is between a man and a woman?

If Trump needs advice from you, I’m sure he’ll give you a call.

Agreed. The best union news I ever heard was a president's response to traffic controller strike a few years ago. ;-)

I would never join a union. I would never give up the right to negotiate my own value in any context.

No. It’s time they got their come uppance instead of being cowtowed to.

Ridicule them. Taunt them. Point out their duplicity and arrogance. Show them for what they really are. Turn it back on them.

1972 was an exception. The AFL-CIO did not endorse Nixon or McGovern. Many individual unions within the AFL-CIO did endorse Nixon, the Teamsters, the East Coast Longshoremen,
The Searfarers Internation Union among others.

I love that Trump responded directly to this parasitic punk. He asked for it when he claimed that Trump 'lied his a$$ off'. Enough of this cloak and dagger liberal methodology ripping people off, especially using the 'force' of government.

I'd be honored.

Hey P - both of us have been here a long time. I've been a Trump supporter since the very beginning (see my posts).

I think it's in his best interest if he tones down the tweets. I think that's all I said.

He's gonna do whatever anyway.

I am glad someone gets it on the damage the unions are causing.

It is well worth his time. Trump is setting up the republican party for long term domination.

He is protecting union jobs better than the union leaders, and making it obvious to the rank and file union members. Trump wants the blue collar vote to find a home in the republican party. Unions, however, are are tremendous cash machines to the democrat party. Union leaders are solidly democrat. So, rather than try to get the union leadership to switch parties, Trump is going to drive a wedge between the leadership and the union members. Union members will not see it as a threat to them, but as being liberated from a union that isn't working in their interests. And the money to the democrats will dry up.

We certainly owe them a lot of grief.

Actually, I prefer hearing the President’s remarks about such matters. NCAA picks not so much.

I love them. He got elected by NOT toning down his tweets. His tweets make the news. He is controlling the dialogue. He is leading the discussions.

In this case some bozo that runs the Union that sold their members down the river comes out to try to put Trump down and before the ink was dry on that story, Trump put the punk in his place. Now the story is about the Union leaders leading their members into the unemployment lines and Trump coming to save their jobs.

Don't be too concerned about Trump's "tweets". He won. The MSM hates his tweets. That means they are accomplishing something important.
