On the one hand, my common sense — not to mention 25 years as a newspaper reporter of the old school — tells me that “if a story is too good to be true, it probably is.”

I have huge reservations regarding this topic, and you are right; I also do not discount the depravity of the Left.

The thing that is curious to me is that the WaPo seems to be printing at least one article per day trying to debunk this story. Because of that I am wondering if there isn't something to this.
