What an idiot!

The affectations are embarrasingly juvenile.
That eyebrow raising makes the pencil-necked feel like a grown up and his use of the word "structural" he must have learned recently from the socialist Rules for Radicals bible, without a clue of where it properly applies...

I wonder what his major is, faggotry for radicals?

Great Tucker line: “Isn’t it a mistake to frame political differences as moral differences....You end up calling people names?”

“As I mentioned last week, I was never much of a Tucker Carlson fan until FNC gave him this new show.”

He’s much more tolerable since he ditched the bowties.

Right when he was cut off he raised a spindly arm into a puny fist too. It was sad and comical at the same time.

Is public speaking no longer a required course? That performance was agonizing.

Eminently qualified to be a barista at Starbucks.

Good additional reason to dump Starbucks (not that any are needed!)

I absolutely detest any business which makes "charitable donations" on my behalf.

I choose my own donations, thankyouverymuch.

Besides that, it’s just ridiculously expensive. One of the few things Mcdonald’s does well is serve inexpensive, good coffee. With a senior discount, I pay 40 cents for a cup ... compared to I don’t know what at Starbucks. I make it a life goal not to do business with any place that has “bucks” in their name.

Tucker was good on this. He was nice. He made his points. He would not let go.

The kid reasoned poorly. Twenty years from now, he may still be a kid and still reason just as badly.

I went to a liberal website earlier today. It was similar to this kid’s presentation, just more polished. In each case, they just throw mud.

You get an intermingling of accusation, complaint, accusation, complaint, and so on. When done, they repeat. There accusations and complaints contain emotion. It is often shaming, though it can veer off into hate or fear.

One important characteristic of feeling strong emotions, is that the capacity to reason is diminished.

I think this young man has never learned to reason. All he knows, and perhaps all he will ever know, is to throw mud with the hope of making “the other side” unpopular or even “toxic.”

This kid probably had potential 4 years ago. After 4 years and more than a quarter of a million dollars in tuition, he seems to be fully indoctrinated. Graduate school will lead to higher level indoctrination. Who needs a Manchurian candidate when we make our own?

I have a feeling the kid doesn't know how truly gentle Tucker was with him. It would have been child's play for Tucker to have ripped him down one side and up the other.

On the surface, Tucker has some serious strikes against him: a mild, preppy manner; an affection for bow ties; raised in affluence in the Washington area; and the son of a senior public broadcasting executive -- but Tucker's show nevertheless puts conservative firepower on target again and again. Using his background to good effect, Tucker politely skewers his adversaries with potent facts and well-stated arguments. This is a refreshing break from O'Reilly's bombast and the clowning around and jokes from Fox News personalities.

Tucker reminds me a little of Bill Buckley -- a pampered rich kid with a mid-Atlantic accent who went to prep schools and Yale but came out a flamboyant conservative writer who organized the post-WW II revival of American conservatism. Indeed, Tucker Carlson's show and his pole-axing of liberal guests has similarities to Buckley's method on his long-running PBS show Firing Line. My guess is that a young Tucker Carlson regularly watched that show while growing up in a household with a father whose career included a long stint at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

I could not even understand him. He did not look at the camera, tossed his hair, and swallowed half of his words.

IMNSHO this buffoon should be seeing a speech therapist ASAP!!!

Not fair that Tucker would engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed person . . . . . . .
