No, they SHOULD, absolutely, pursue the investigation. If it comes back to her as we suspect, she should be arrested for filing a false report. Let her spend some time in the slammer. Let the University toss her sorry butt out, and in fact, let the university sue her, as the false report damages the reputation of the school. Maybe the college Republicans can sue her as well.

Sound like police asked her to explain the absense of any attacking, pushing or yelling on the surveillance videos, and why the MAGA hat-wearing students helped her pick up the books that she had dropped and handed them back to her with a smile, whereupon she unequivocably demanded that the white supremicist racist officers withdraw her claim.

Let me guess - because as a "woman of color," she felt so threatened and fearful from the many racists, nazi brownshirts and KKK Trump supporters converging on her home, constantly following her and harassing her, that she had no choice but to drop it and flee for her life. The racist, male-patriarchy-enforcing police clearly would not help her either.
