HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A Green Party-backed campaign changed its strategy to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania’s Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and said late Saturday night that it will seek help in the federal courts, rather than the state courts.
The announcement that it would seek an emergency federal court order on Monday for a recount came hours after it dropped a case in the state courts.
“Make no mistake - the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania,” recount campaign lawyer Jonathan Abady said in a statement issued around 11:30 p.m. “We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans.”
In the statement, Abady said barriers to a recount in Pennsylvania are pervasive and the state court system is ill-equipped to address the problem.

The district court should be loathe to upend a ruling by the local election officials. Unfortunately, there is always the chance of getting stuck with an activist, biased judge.

I would think pretty much any Federal court would immediately reject such a request because the issue isn’t ripe for Federal consideration since the plaintiff failed to exhaust all possible State remedies first.

Dr.Jill Stein is heavily invested monetarily in propping up ACA (Obamacare). She doesn’t want Trump to terminate that donkey of legislation.
Follow the money, for it is all about $$$.
Federal court will shut down Stein - failure to explain why PA election is illegal and how Stein would benefit from a recount of the vote.
And she failed to follow PA state court rules for exhausting state remedies.
This is one shot in the Marxist Left’s efforts at “nullification”, of the elections in the state, then of the Electoral College itself, and then of the Constitution, and it is only going to be worse.

I smell a RICO investigation when Trump gets in and tells his new, Constitution abiding AG to convene a major FBI and DOJ investigation into election tampering by these subversive groups. The it really will be “showtime”.

They’ve never received so much attention from the media, nor donations, in their history. They are going to be so sad when the electoral college officially casts its ballots, and everyone forgets about them again.
