WASHINGTON, United States — Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein dropped her efforts Saturday to request a vote recount in Pennsylvania, one of three battleground states won by Donald Trump where she is challenging the results.

“Petitioners are regular citizens of ordinary means. They cannot afford to post the $1,000,000 bond required by the court,” read a filing submitted in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

On Twitter, she later added: “#Recount2016 is so expensive because of elected leaders who have refused to invest in a 21st-century voting system.”

It doesn’t matter. The fainting, weeping, bed-wetting, defeatist trolls on FR will be along shortly to tell us that Trump will lose and Hitlery will be president.

PA and all other states need to update their vote recount laws NOW so this kind of circus freak show can’t happen in the first place.

How many years have we been hearing about Obama getting over 100% of the registered vote in Philadelphia? Why didn't our sleepwalking ship-of-fools Republican Party challenge that with a request for recount? The law doesn't need to be changed just because we don't like who used it this time.

And where did the $$$ go? She should have had the million, according to what was claimed as raised.

I saw today where some group was trying to raise money to sue Florida for a recount- so far only raised a little over $60,000 and I think the deadline for that was yesterday.

This is getting out of hand, states will have to change their laws so people who got few votes cannot play games with the system.

Here in PA, she has the added burden of having to prove fraud in each district. She can’t just say “PA” and get a recount, she has to prove each and every district committed fraud and - if I’m not mistaken - also a judge has to sign off for each district.

The $1M bond is there so these frivoulous usurpers don’e get the chance to corrupts our voting. system and laws worked fine. IMHO and i live here is phill.

At Monday’s announcement Stein will tell her supporters that the remaining balance of donations will be used to continue the fight for voter integrity of future elections and blah..blah....blah....blah..blah! She will then wave one last time to the crowd and nobody will ever see or hear from her again.

There’s an old saying, “When it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The electoral college is and has been the law of the land and will remain so. NO we do not need to follow a popular vote count system because we are a REPUBLIC not a pure democracy.

If things were reverse and Trump had lost and demanded a recount in WI, MI, and PA, the media and liberals would have thought he was crazy.

Jill, go spew your gas elsewhere.

On Monday, I will escalate #Recount2016 in PA and file to demand a statewide recount on constitutional grounds. The people deserve answers.

Stein? She is being used by the Clinton Political Machine! The Dems lost big time, the Praetorian media needs to be real but they can’t because they are in bed with these turds. Clinton needs to be incarcerated for enticing the riots and all the destruction in the Nation!

How about a fine four times greater than the cost plus 5 years in jail?

I've been reading a lot on the subject, but haven't even once seen or read, or heard an answer to the more important question of the day.

The 69 thousand dollar question is: Hey Laz; would you hit that Jill Stein???

After all, inquiring minds want to know. /s

This action of Jill Stein speaks of the deceit that the Left has polluted the political landscape with for decades. The American people are not amused by their behavior and that sentiment has reached critical mass. Things will come crashing down on their heads.
