I don't think that's a very good idea, and I don't see how it would help the nation, Trump or the Republicans.

I think it would make more sense, once Trump is in office, for him to have an initiative to address and prevent illegal alien voting through legislation and executive action to enforce existing law.

Part of that might be a federal government study of voter registrations and voting activities.

And I think that the government ought to be very public (i.e. White House communications and public service announcements) about consequences of illegal aliens voting -- fines, prison, deportation. The fear of being caught voting illegally, in and of itself, would definitely reduce the instance of this activity.

But I really think that once the current Stein/Hillary recount mess is behind us, we should all just move on and focust on the Inauguration and Trump's actions as President.

Maceman,

Include in the white house communique’ the clip of 0 telling that illegal that she could vote.

And go after her (and any other illegals that voted) for breaking the law, and after 0 for being involved in it.

I think asking for a recount in California and Nevada is a good idea. Trump should not do it himself because he would appear to be on both sides of the issue.

Hopefully they can find someone who could push it forward as well as checking for voter fraud.

Hand counting cast votes is worthless if you want to remove ineligible voters.

You need to get get a list of Voters.

Yes. A recount accomplishes nothing. You have to verify the voters and no one wants to do that. Not even Republicans.

"once Trump is in office"

Your assuming that Trump will survive the "19th of December Putsch". That is not a forgone conclusion. Over confidence is more dangerous than lack of confidence.

I believe I was disenfranchised. If a single illegal alien voted in my district then my direct vote for my representative (Darrel Issa) was negated. I want to know what needs to happen in order to get justice.

Yes, that’s the way I feel here in PA.

I do think every person with a passport and a driver’s license ought to be fingerprinted when getting a renewal or new passport and only those two documents should be used prior to voting. I do think both the driver’s license and passport should include fingerprints if only on an itty bitty chip and perhaps the chip can only be read by a machine just prior to voting. I do think there is no other way.

The chip information would go to a central intelligence agency such as the FBI or CIA or NSA and no other place. When the chip was read at the voting booth a yes or no would come from the intelligence agency. If the person being vetted is told “no”, (s)he would have a week to get it straightened out. I doubt it would take that much time.

This idea is meeting great resistance in my house. And it might be hard for me to get a passport with the chip.

How do you think we could identify citizens of our country from illegals who have NO CONSTITUTIONAL right to vote?
