Some of you may find it disturbing that one of Trump’s chief apologists was basically saying that he talks policy like a drunk at happy hour. Some of you may hear Trump constantly contradicting today what he said yesterday and decide he’s an idiot.
From now on I’m going to try to think of him as a little bit like my dog, Frieda. Frieda is extremely intelligent, but her memory is only good for about 90 seconds.
When you listen to Trump’s Inaugural Address, or his first State of the Union, keep reminding yourself that he’s reserving the right to forget everything he’s said as soon as he says it. No way we can believe him long term. Unless he tattoos it on his arm.

My focus is the liberals’ need to believe they are more intelligent than conservatives. Just one example: A few years ago, at a dinner of sports professionals, I had to listen to the rantings of a 25 year-old Obama supporter who castigated me for believing in our Second Amendment. She raised her voice over the table, interrupting me from my socratic questioning. The rest at the table simply smiled in agreement with her. I was 64 years-old at the time.
Remember when Obama totally lost his train of thought while speaking in 08? His followers cheered him! Liberals are not stupid, no matter how foolish they are.
The NYT will constantly attack Trump’s intelligence — they must. It pays the bills for the newspaper; objective reporting would not.

I told a friend a few months ago that I felt trump would win cause the election this year reminded me of 1984 and how the media flipped out over the 1st female VP nominee and they trashed Trump like Reagan seems like it will be worse the media is unhinged
This liberal position makes it exceeding clear; America is in desperate need of a dunce for president. I don't think this dunce will be a Reagan but Trump is about as close as we will get this election cycle.
