I ditched Macy for Dillards when Macy’s decided Catholic thoughts were a crime. The security chief they fired was guilty of Catholic thoughtcrime. I spend a lot of money. I have it, and I spend it. But not at Macy’s anymore. Besides, Macy’s has gone down in quality.

I ditched Target for other stores with the same merchandise.

Kelloggs, meh. I don’t eat processed foods but my grandchildren will like General Mills and the Quaker Company.

I’ll buy GM stock instead.

Because Kellogg has a stupid in-house communications staff.

Many Americans, seeped in cultural Marxist, collectivist, emotional values over the past 5 decades - without any broader perspective of why they believe what they do - think, like Lenin, Hitler and Mao, it is right and proper to involve politics in everything - music, art, sports, religion - and even breakfast cereal.

“The reason is that it guarantees that 40% to 50% of the country will disagree with the issue or opinion under discussion, and boycott that company’s products.”

Yup. Exhibit A being my boycott of Kellogg’s.

As another poster said, “Shut up and make cereal.”

In promoting their ‘inclusiveness and diversity’, Kellogg denies to do business with someone who simply disagrees with them....claiming they don’t have the same values.

....And Kelloggs can’t see the hypocrisy in this.

Speaking out isn’t the issue. A CEO assuming that he represents the political leanings of a whole company, then acts upon it by dogging his own customers is egregious.

Raheem Kassam, Breitbart’s Editor in-Chief in London, hosted their radio show this morning and alluded to something I’ve thought about for some time. For years, American corporations, in the name of “social responsibility” and “social justice” have bent over backwards to accommodate complaints from the Lefties and have done so historically without a peep from conservatives.

The first such instance I’m aware of was the CBS production of “The Guns of Autumn”, an anti-hunting documentary in which the Chrysler Corporation bought a lot of advertising for the Dodge Truck Division. While it turned out that Chrysler was probably misled by CBS about the nature of the show, the sales of Dodge trucks were affected for years.

The mantra for years has been, “Conservatives don’t ‘do’ [organized] boycotts, we vote with our wallets.” That is clearly no longer the case. Companies like Target, Starbucks and others - now joined by Kellogg - are beginning to feel the impact of the wrath of Americans on their bottom line. I just checked the Breitbart web site and over 150,000 people have signed Breitbart’s petition to boycott Kellogg’s; I can’t imagine that ALL owners of Kellogg stock are Lefties...
