Self-described "anti-racism strategist" and radio host Tariq Nasheed appeared on Fox News Channel's 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' on Tuesday to discuss his viral tweet questioning why some people called the police officer who stopped the Ohio State University terrorist a hero.
Nasheed responds: "What is cowardly to make up a false narrative that I didn't say, or even imply, that I was not impressed, or dissatisfied with the police's work. That tweet was very vague, it was very neutral. It was basically a statement, it wasnt even my opinion So for you to say that it is cowardly is disingenuous--"
CARLSON: Im asking you what did you mean but that. Is the guy, the police officer who shot this guy, a hero or isn't he?
NASHEED: I'll be glad to answer that, but I don't want to do the false narrative thing, because that is very disingenuous, and I like to speak truth to power. Now let me explain what I meant:
No, I didn't think the guy was wrong for what he did. The guy was a hero. The comment wasn't meant to racialize the actual shooting and the event itself. When that happened, there were a lot of people online who played the race card. And the minute they found out who the suspect was, they kep taling about Black Somalian, Black Somalian. Then they started talking about Black Lives Matter and Obama and then they racialized it.
CARLSON: I'm sorry, there's only so much I can take. I spent all afternoon listening to your podcast, which is the most racialized thing I think I've ever listened to in my life...

It goes back years to the Bush admin. I never took him seriously after that. He came across as some frat boy, ala bow tie, and seemed pretty impressed with himself. I just never paid attention to him after that.
Hero.
He saved lives because he shot someone who was attacking others with the intent to kill.
He didn’t attack him with no provocation simply because he knew he was muslim.
Agree!!!! I hadn’t even gotten to the replies and I’m sure glad I’m not the only one who is “irked” to the maximum with this tripe! We are supposed to be entering a cheerful season but I think I’m hungover from the idiotic stuff we had to put up with for the past nearly 2 years of campaigning. Don’t know when I’ll be back to normal.
“I used to hate Tucker, partly because of that damn bow tie, but mostly because he was a true RINO in every sense of the acronym.”
I agree. He was a terrible RINO!
i agree! i have not seen him since the 1990s when he would wear the bow ties... and i have not watched any network nor cable news in eight years... i like how he calls them out on their nonsense...
“”Stopped reading. Cannot stand that stupid statement.””
Same here....I’m tired of all the “in” words/phrases...
disingenuous? this guy is disingenuous to the Nth degree...
He must have had a “Road to Damascus” experience at some point. Lost the bowtie, got on the trump train almost right away. Now he’s my absolute favorite on Fox.
Thank you.
Lou Dobbs, Tucker, Hannity, Stu Varney, Maria, Trish Regan, and Judge Pirro. You don’t need anything else.
The tell-all for Nasheed’s racism is in his tweet: He capitalizes the “B” in Black” and uses the lowercase “w” in “white.” This was a childish tactic used by a notorious New Orleans’ racist who used to run a tabloid-type newspaper. I believe he ran afoul of the law for scamming medical bills.
I like Tucker a lot. He tears these knuckle heads up with ease. I find it distasteful to even hear these moron opinions from his guests.
Sorry Tucker, when a guy says the Police shooting at OSU was racially motivated, as absurd as that sounds, I ticks me off, and I change the channel.
Why give them a platform? They should be ignored. Plus it is not a fair fight, similar to me going up against Joe Frazier
I’ve seen Tucker in the past and that’s why I’m so glad to see him with his own show so everyone can see what a master he is to beat stupid people down with their own words and do it with class and humor.......I love it!
