The University of Mississippi Student Body Senate has pulled a resolution which would have created a sanctuary campus for illegal immigrant students and banned federal immigration officials from stepping foot on campus after overwhelming backlash. Hours after Breitbart Texas reported on the push to make Ole Miss a sanctuary campus, the resolution was pulled from being voted on by the Student Senate after alumni and the general public flooded the universitys and Sen. Chris McDaniels (R-Ms) office with concerns over the resolution, according to Mississippi Pep.
Make UB a Sanctuary Campus

Ya, they can ban federal officers. What dumbasses.
That’s what I said when this was first reported. No government grants, no government loans, no government funds of any kind. Yeah, the like their freebies more than they like illegals.
Only two posts for a Shep reference.....we’re good.
Hail State.
Idiots don’t know how much government money that and other colleges receive.
If President-elect does cut off government money to ‘sanctuaries’, Ole Miss could have a big time financial hurt.
Felonies is what it would be if they do this.

Shep is special
Trying to turn the fine Ol’ Miss into just another tawdry old whore.
Good on the backlashers and may they keep their whips at hand.
“Student Body Senate”? LOL, that figures!
Only Ole Miss grad, Shep Smith of Faux News would like this.
Here is a link to Breitbart cover of the story.

Shep wept.
.... and the threat of future federal funding being cut off.
On that regard see this article.
It’s not going to be a “slam dunk” ..... except for one matter that will force Congress to “drain the swamp” pretty quickly if Trump is willing to be strong. It’s called the Debt Ceiling Limit. Some of you celebrate January 20th. However for me the real test of Trump’s leadership is going to come on two fronts.
1. How he approaches the monopoly-driven costs skyrocketing for health care. Keep in mind that monopolies are illegal and the executive branch already has the power to prosecute those who are price-fixing and colluding to keep prices super-high through monopolies and other illegal activities.
2. The Debt Ceiling & draining the swamp. All these issues over giving money/grants to entities like universities, local/state governments, and individuals/families can be solved through legislation that puts the order-of-payment to alleged law-violators below that of debt repayment. If a State government official cannot certify under penalty of perjury & prosecution & prison time that all their agencies are in compliance with law enforcement then they have to wait to get their funds. In such cases they will need to borrow money, post bonds, etc. while the issues work their way through the court. But they will not have federal funds.
March 15th is the magic date. If the Debt Ceiling Limit resolution doesn’t solve the “draining the swamp” issues then they will probably never be solved during the Trump Presidency.
I received a request to pass one of these letters around and support it from an instructor at my Community College last week.
