(theologically, this is an acquired merit, acquired from having embraced God)
Yet I don’t recall where God mandates that his will be summarily imposed on others as Islam, for example, does.
I’m not saying this wouldn’t be just or patriotic here in this country, but it shouldn’t be mandated by the government as India is apparently doing in this case.
