I read a statement released by Veterans for Common Sense (which is where I got my info) and in retrospect, it is probably BS.
The “Common Sense” part of the name should have been your first clue. It’s nearly a universal flag for the absence of any real common sense, IMO.
I’m afraid so. After reading the linked article, I read a number of other ones on the same subject. When I saw that Bloomberg is a supporter of the Veterans Coalition for Common Sense, then read a few of their statements that had nothing whatsoever to do with suicide among veterans, but focused on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and others who shouldn’t - and by law can’t - own guns, the intent is pretty clear.
