Late in the day Tuesday November 15, Congress convened in a special session. With normal rules suspended, they passed House Resolution 5732 – the “Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act”. The resolution calls for intensifying already harsh sanctions on Syria, assessing implementation of No Fly Zone in Syria and escalating efforts to press criminal charges against Syrian officials.

However Bashar Assad, a brutal dictator posed no threat to my nation. Before the civil war that was aided and encouraged by Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama a Christian, a Jew, a Muslim could pray in their temple, church or mosque anywhere in Syria with no fear.
Thus, I think Bashar Assad by default is the good guy. I think we are fighting for the wrong side.
The forces opposing Assad are radical Sunni Islamists, without doubt our mortal enemies. The Christians, Shiites and Kurds are fighting for Assad.
Forget democracy in a Muslim Nation. They are both incompatible with each other. It will not work unless the tenants of the Koran become null and void and that will not happen. The only rational way to deal with the Muslim World is support the dictator of your choice and never, never, never support a theological dictatorship. A theological dictatorship by tennats of the Koran will be your avowed enemy as is Iran.

I lived in Iran as a teenager. The vast majority of that nation is actually pro west. My heart bleeds for them. They have suffered greatly under the theocracy. Most of the Iranians are really good people.

This is an Obama / Clinton thing, not a Trump decision. What do you do with a shadow coup when you are the new President Elect and the predecessors are sending signals that they are making plans to draw you into a war you don’t want? Maybe we should ask Erdogan. Or arrest Soros and co-conspirators, Soros, Obama, and the Clinton’s and send Russia a CARE package with a note that says, “these guys were about to set plans in motion to ensure that the U.S. went to war with your country to make them and their cronies very wealthy as they killed your soldiersi with absolutely no remorse, the same of which they have done in our own country with people who were witnesses to their own crimes. Do with them whatever you want. Just send proof of ____ after you’re done.
